Add to that, that we human beings are a composite of reason and emotion where emotion a lot of the time get the upper hand. Add to that, that despite our ignorance of our very complex existence, despite time after time we human beings have been proven wrong about what we thought to be right, we act like we know it all.
Sometimes it seems a wonder that we reached this far as humans not wrecking the planet all long time ago. If only we were as rational as some economic models would have us believe instead of this emotion driven herd!
Even if our reality can be overwhelming for our emotional and cognitive abilities it is important to remember that our world is created by us human beings and that we are recreated by the world. As adults we are continuing our pretend play we played as children. This paper is money, you are president and you cannot pass this line.
However those humans in our cocreated world who by a stroke of luck were given more resources are dictating the rules of the play which has resulted is a world after their liking, understandable, but it is a world that favours the few and destroys our planet and our imagination along with it.
Now we have to rediscovered our lost imagination and level the playing field by letting everyone have say in what we want to play and how we should play it.
If we allow ourselves to understand that a prospering world consists of different worlds, that we need difference to find a solution to a problem we have never faced before, and if we dare to play, experiment and try maybe then we can pull ourselves up from the deep conundrum we are in, adapt, and create a planet where everyone can prosper within limits.
