There is inequality in power stemming from an economic system that reward the already powerful. They are given by the system the power to decide the subjects on what to decide on and maybe the most important power,
“the capacity to secure compliance to domination through the shaping of beliefs and desires, by imposing internal constraints under historically changing circumstances.”.
This control of our world views/preanalytic visions/paradigms/mindsets has turned us one-dimensional, focusing on what is possible today rather what could be possible tomorrow.
Many economists are trapped in this mindset and knowingly and unknowingly run the errands of the powerful scaring non-economist human beings with words of inflationdeflationunemployment-doom.
However other economists, practitioner of economy and ordinary human beings have dared into the unknown, gone where no one has gone before, and already started created an alternative future.
Even though the powerful are powerful because they have hogged a lot of our resource there are something comforting in the power of the numbers. So let us the 99 % help the adventurers and others who engage in creating a better world by creating rules that level the power of the powerful and take the power of the future!
